Some of the stories we’ve inherited are life-giving. Others are confining. Many of them are painfully destructive, both individually and collectively. It’s time for a new story.

I believe the stories we hold as true shape the structures of our life. Our systems are constructed by cultural narratives, our lives are shaped by personal mythologies, and the two create each other. I also believe that finding our voice heals us and speaking truth transforms the world.

This blog/community/newsletter is here to make it a little easier to walk our path. It’s where I share my art and what’s on my heart. Here I articulate things that are hard to name, celebrate the beauty that exists within and around us, and dare to envision the world that we long to inhabit. I’ve spent a lifetime noticing how stories create the world we live in. From my years growing up in the Christian faith and studying scripture, to my university studies of non-Western cultures, to more than a decade of investigating consciousness, healing, and embodiment with my spiritual mentors, to my career in business and marketing, I’ve been living in and looking at the relationship between humanity and story.

Narrative is a powerful force. For ill or for good. And a transformative pathway for creating a life and world we want to inhabit.

My life has been radically altered by encounters with the written word, by excavating and facing the stories that live in me, and by helping others find their voice and use it. I'm a writer, strategic storyteller, dancer, brand strategist, community catalyst, collaborative copywriter & poet. I'm here to play my part in the paradigm shift from destructive stories-and-systems to a vibrant world where everyone gets to thrive.
