It expanded my perspective so much and put me on a track of not feeling comfortable with my evangelical upbringing without living outside that box. Yes, it is a gift to still be in touch and I will always return to that experience to reflect and dig deep in my soul
Here's to living outside the box! It helps when something/someone/life shows you the box you're living in. I'm so grateful for the way our LASP immersion did that. It's never easy to have one's illusions dismantled and true reality exposed, but SO valuable. And so fun that we're still appreciating it all these years later.
